Open both days of the Festival from 10 am to 5 pm
On the banks
of the North Yamhill River, in what remains of the old town of
Pike, lies Wild Rain Farm, where we grow 9 varieties of lavender,
23 varieties of lilacs, and 26 acres of tall fescue. The
field of 2000 lavender plants overlooks a small park and beach
on the banks of the river, where you can relax in chairs or at
picnic tables. Bring your own picnic lunch or pick up a box
lunch at the Artisan Fair in Yamhill. Lavender lemonade and
shortbread will be for sale at the farm.
Cut your own bunches of lavender, make your own sachets, or
purchase fresh or dried bouquets. Dried loose lavender,
wands, sachets, bath and skin prodcuts, essential oil,
lavender blackberry jam, lavender infused honey, lavender chocolate
bars, fabric arts, lavender plants, and other plants will
also be for sale.
